Macabre is an American extreme metal band from Chicago, Illinois, United States.[1] They blend thrash metal, death metal, and grindcore (sometimes with nursery rhymes and folk melodies) to form their own unique style dubbed ‘murder metal’. They have been releasing music since 1987, the last record they released was in 2012, They just released their 20th album at the end of 2020.
