On August 21st, the 30th anniversary of the Grammy nominated and certified gold album ‘Persistence of Time’ by thrash metal band Anthrax, Kuma’s Corner presented Charlie Benante, drummer and one of the founding members of Anthrax, with the first ever Golden Kuma Burger in recognition of the creative contributions of outstanding artistic significance to the metal music genre.
The Golden Kuma burger was created as a way to honor the legendary rock gods that have helped pave the way for metal to where it is today. Kuma’s plans to award the Golden Kuma burger to a new and deserving metal band every year.
